Job Description

The Business Manager will be responsible for managing the local business office including sales revenue forecasting, payroll submission and accounting for the station(s). This position reports directly to regional financial management regarding financial and operational information.
Required Skills
- Coordinate with the regional financial management regarding financial and operational information. Liaise between station and regional/corporate office regarding business issues involving personnel, legal, FCC regulations, etc.
- Manage local business office.
- Process payroll including new hire paperwork, commission calculations, and talent fee allocation. Responsible for gathering employee personnel records.
- Provides revenue and balance sheet information to corporate.
- Maintain local trade files per policy.
- Manage local accounts receivable process including billing, invoice generation, cash in advance processing, and assist sales with collection issues. Assists customers, approves orders.
- Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable, trade). Conducts variance analysis and account analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports. Submit payroll and financial data to corporate offices. Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
- May provide special project support.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience required.
- Advanced Excel skills highly preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting software highly preferred.
- Knowledge of FCC rules highly preferred
- Skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work in a matrix organizational structure.
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication skill.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision, independently and/or as a member of a project team.
- Ability to multitask and to prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment – must escalate appropriate issues to management in a timely fashion.
- Must be detailed oriented – with strong attention to accuracy and problem solving. “Following-up until resolved” skills are a must.
- Ability to work well as a team member.

Director of Sales

Position Overview
The VP of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for revenue growth for CCM+E’s broadcast, digital, and live entertainment products. The VP of Sales is the most senior member of the Sales management team and serves as a leader of the market’s new business and account service efforts. Primary responsibilities include leading and developing a strong sales manager leadership team and overseeing the market’s sales force on revenue growth via aggressive new business and account development strategies utilizing all of CCM+E integrated capabilities. The VP of Sales must coordinate with the VP of Programming to ensure sales activity is consistent with the CCM+E brands in the market.
The VP of Sales reports directly to and works in tandem with the Market President to develop deep, accretive business relationships with the market’s largest current and potential clients including marketers and agencies while developing & implementing the market’s short and long term revenue growth plans. A deep knowledge of relevant market intelligence and trends, including but not limited to evolving technologies, consumer behaviors, client expectations, shifting competitive landscape, and operational efficiencies is required. The VP of Sales is a senior member of the market’s management team, and role models the values and operating principles of CCM+E with the market’s employees.
Required Skills
- Develop and manage key relationships with decision markers at current and potential clients to grow revenue across CCM+E platforms (e.g., Broadcast radio, iHeartRadio, Live Events, etc.)
- Work directly with CEOs, CMOs, Business Owners, Media Planners and other key media decision makers to create marketing strategies
- Actively participate in business & community associations with the intension of developing extensive relationships with local influencers and decision makers
- Attend high profile account presentations; provide coaching and leadership to sales managers
- Develop and maintain the overall revenue growth plan for the market and requisite reporting
- Implement regional and national revenue generating strategic initiatives.
- Leverage appropriate internal resources to deliver value to customers
- Proactively identify, develop, coach, and manage Sales Manager direct reports (and sales force via the SMs) and support their selling activity
- Drive results through SM team and hold them accountable to expectations
- Act as a primary ‘go-to’ for all sales related issues that cannot be resolved at the sales management level
- Provide regular updates to Market President, VP Finance, and EVPOs where appropriate
- Providing visible leadership and communications to the market
Required Experience
The VP Sales must possess:
- A minimum of 3 years sales management experience
- A proven track record of sales success working directly with top level corporate decision makers
- A proven track record of running a successful sales organization while demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and holding employees accountable against business and sales metrics
- Ability to train and coach sales managers to maximize revenue through effective inventory management and ‘lead from the front’ management techniques
- Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
- Ability to make tough business & people decisions, while creating positive energy in the face of challenges
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities.
- Dynamic presence, stellar written and presentation skills, and excellent communication and influencing abilities across multiple levels
- Ability to grow the business and find new revenue opportunities over time, as well as create productive, long-term customer relationships.
- Deep and broad business acumen with strong analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate in a way that focuses, inspires, and engages employees to deliver results.

The Account Executive is responsible for building relationships and selling Clear Channel assets as marketing solutions. Required Skills
